Tropical Storm Lala, which brought dangerous flooding, strong winds and a massive power outage throughout Hawaii, is beginning to exit the islands Sunday as the eye starts to pull away from Kauai.

Hurricane Lala weakened to a tropical storm Sunday after skirting Hawaii without making landfall, but it still punished the Big Island with heavy rain and strong wind gusts.
